The realization of the Capuchin Pan-American Meeting was for the friars in America a breath of life and an impulse to live the Capuchin Franciscan Charism in the different environments in which we live. In May 2022, the meeting’s conclusion did not mean the end of the work; on the contrary, as soon as the final document was ready. Now, it is time to return to the mission with a new charismatic vigor.

Until the year 2026, we will celebrate the eighth centenary of important events of the Franciscan Charism: the Regula Bullata and Christmas in Greccio (2023); the Stigmata (2024); the Canticle of the Creatures (2025); and the Easter of St. Francis of Assisi (2026). Celebrating these dates so long ago and still as a Franciscan fraternity shows that our charism is alive and active in the Church and humanity.

From Argentina to Canada, the friars continue to travel the roads of America under the patronage of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, giving themselves in the most diverse realities and overcoming the huge, but also the small challenges of daily life. They are men of the Gospel who, like so many others have responded to this mission. These are friars of the people.

The Order of Friars Minor Capuchin is present all over the world, even with friars from America working in other parts of the world, such as Europe, Africa, and Asia. We are Capuchin Franciscan Friars to the world!
